In 2017, the average crude oil prices are expected to show a higher level than 2016’ mainly due to the OPEC output cut deal. Domestically, although the recovery of demand is sluggish, the output gap is closing the difference from the trend.

 올해 우리경제는 미국과 일부 신흥 시장의 회복세에 힘입은 수출 및 설비 투자 개선으로 완만한 성장을 이어갈 것으로 기대된다. 2016년 OPEC 국가들의 산유량 감산 합의로, 2017년 국제 평균 유가는 2016년 유가 수준보다 높을 것으로 예상된다. 국내적으로 수요 회복이 부진하겠지만, 마이너스 생산갭(output gap)은 완화되고 있는 것으로 나타났다.

  This paper analyzes the joint behavior of the economic fluctuations and the banking sector through the lens of financial-sector augmented New-Keynesian Model. On contrary to the previous literature, our analysis is not limited to the real and monetary variables; we further unveil the effectiveness of the shocks on the banking sector. Our main finding is that the effectiveness of the exogenous shocks on the banking sector does not depend on whether the shock directly hits the financial sector or not. Rather, the commercial bank’s profitability and financial soundness are mainly affected by how the aggregate size of the loan is affected by the shock.

  본고에서는 새케인즈학파 모형을 사용하여 경제변동과 금융분야의 공행성에 대해 분석했다. 이전 연구와는 대조적으로, 이번 분석은 실질 변수와 통화 변수에 국한하지 않고 한 걸음 더 나아가 금융 분야에 대한 충격 요인의 효과를 분석했다. 금융 분야에 대한 외부 충격 효과는 금융 분야에 가해지는 충격이 직접적인지 아닌지에 따라서는 많은 영향을 받지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 상업은행의 수익성과 재무건전성은 외부 충격에 영향을 받는 총대출 규모 수준에 의해서 주로 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.
